Revitalizing Historic Downtown Fredonia
Main Street Studios was created from comprehensive interior renovations of the warehouse space at 50 West Main Street in Fredonia, NY. The Studios are an entertainment hub and feature theater, film, music, dance, and cultural activities.
Originally the tri-level warehouse was home to the historic Card Seed Company, but has been vacant since the 1980s. Venture Productions transformed the space through a partnership with the Village of Fredonia and a generous grant from New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
Renovations adapted the facility into a basement café, first floor performance and entertainment venue, and second floor classrooms ideal for acting, dance, martial arts, etc.
The Studios have hosted year-round community events, increased tourism, and created additional jobs in Chautauqua County. We aim to foster business development, promote economic activity, and assist the Village’s mission to stimulate the revitalization of downtown Fredonia.
